Out of order photos – Ngwe Saung edition

I have a whole bunch of photos waiting to sort through and post, but in the meantime, here are some shots of last weekend, much of which we spent swimming in the Bay of Bengal (because that’s just how we roll).

Ngwe Saung. 240kms and a five hour drive. Roads. Don't take them for granted.

This is a fairly typical beer station. But what is impressive is that I will now read you the Burmese sign: "Shwe Th-Pyay", which possibly translates to "Golden Satisfaction" (or possibly to something entirely different, my vocab is still pretty basic. The first word is definitely gold/golden though).

Tuna carpaccio. Bringing my total raw fish intake up to three occasions. Which is three more than recommended (it was truly delicious though).

This whole snapper (maybe?) didn't seem very happy about being cooked. It was also delicious.
